Flyers acquire Tony Amonte

This is a great move for Philly. Amonte still has plenty of good years ahead of him. If he can get his scoring touch back, he can carry a team on his back like he did in Chicago. I'm a big Tony Amonte fan and I hope he does well in Philadelphia.

I was really surprised when I opened the paper this morning and found out Tony was coming to Philly. He should be a huge help, especially if he plays along side of Roenick

Don't forget the reason why Phoenix got rid of Amonte, he is having an off season! Not to Damper your Hopes or anything, but they will probably choke like they always do, especially if they play the Leafs!

It should be a good match up the Leafs vs Flyers in the first round. I would like to see this match up as the conference final and not a first round Match up!

I absolutely agree. Their defenses match up perfectly. Now, if the Flyers can start generating some offense it's gonna be one hell of a series.

For the conference finals my money's on the Flyers and the Devils. (That's 50% brain and 50% heart on the Flyers.)

I can't wait for the Leafs-Flyers. I think it'll be the best eastern conference series to watch in the first round.

BTW how many goals did the Flyers score in last years payoffs? I think it was 2? Albob?

I hope its just the begining, Amonte and Roenick were awesome together. Amonte didn't look anything like the player he was in Phoenix. hopefully he is back.
btw, Leclair looked awesome in his comeback. there isn't a player in the league that can shield a puck the way he does.

Leclair is a BULL. Outside the Red Wings roster, he is one of my favorite players.
