Permanent effects of PH's on Endocrine sys

I was just wondering if anyone can clarify what permanent effects PH's have on the endocrine system. I've read a few posts from people here stating that it does effect it, but nothing on what the long term effects are. Any info is greatly appreciated. I'm itching to try a cycle of 1-Test.
Thanks!

I do know of one 27 year gentleman who had to go from his GP, to a Shrink, back to the GP and then to an Endocrinologist...for hygonadism, presumed caused by PH.......he is now on HRT

..then several cases of surpressed endogenous Test production in young and old alike from PH abuse (however some after only 3 weeks.)...acne, oily skin...but no testicular shrinkage, prostate or chest problems that I know about

DP

I must have been left out of the joke on that one. I'm lost! GP, HRT, and why is this funny??? Is this someone we all know or something?

No DP was serious....GP I think is general praticioner(doctor)
There are serious sides if abused.

I don't think there is any longer term data/evidence from which to draw any conclusions. DP's example was just that, an example. It is anecdotal at best. Hell, the doctor blames ephedra for the pitchers death.

I am not trying to minimize, in anyway the potential sides of PH use, I just want to point out that nothing regarding danger or safety is available as far as long term effects are concerned. If there was the FDA would have a legitimate reason (under the DSHEA) to ban them, and believe me, in this instance, if they could, they would.

I do not think a cycle of pro-hormones can cause hypogonadism and require permanent HRT, unless someone was predisposed to this.

There are bodybuilders that abuse real steroids for years and once they stop their testes work fine.

It's important to note that millions of males end up with hypogonadism between the age of 30-50 naturally.

Thanks for all the info! I asked because I did a search on PHs and found a post stating that they do permanently change your endocrine sys. I haven't been able to find any research to prove or even suggest this. Temporary changes/ side effects don't really scare me. Permanently altering the way hormones are regulated in my body is scary as hell. Thanks again!
