Help me get my legs in shape!

I really need to work on my legs!! What do you suggest for exercises? Lunges, squats, extensions?? It is almost short season and I need a good leg program!! I will be combining this with clean eating to get the fat off!

Well, here's what I did thismorning for my legs -
Squats 3 sets 4-6 reps
leg press 2 sets 4-6 reps
SLDL (straight leg dead lift) 2 sets 4-6 reps

Seated calf raise 3 sets 6-8 reps
Standing calf raise 2 sets 6-8 reps

Done deal, I was near max on all lifts.

Sure, but you cannot spot reduce so you need to get your diet in order to drop your body fat down, cardio can help as well.

Diet to get rid of the fat but a good workout in terms of exercises is...welll...here is what I da:

Barbell Squats
Hack Squats
Lunges
Extensions

SLDL
Leg Curls

Standing Calf Raise
Seated Calf Raise

It's up to you if you want to train the entire leg in one workout. It's also up to you to decide the sets/reps you wish to do...this varies incredibly among different people.

These exercise work...but be INTENSE or your legs will never improve.

The leg workout I'm gonna do tomorrow:

1) Safety Squats....4 sets, 12, 10, 8, 6
2) L/E....3 sets, 12, 10, 10...drop set on last set
3) Back leg up Smiths....3 sets, 12, 10, 8
4) L/C SS....3 sets 12, 10, 8
5) Safety Squats ....3 sets 25

This routine works for me:

day 1

squat
leg press
leg curl
lunges

day 2

sldl
leg curl
standing calf raise
seated calf raise

One w/o the other....won't work..BUT, w/o a good nutritional program, you'll never see anything! We are all mucsle charts w8ing to happen!

I plan to begin training and eating super clean on Monday!! I have too much going on this weekend to start any sooner!!

No problem Meancuts! You probably just focused on the Jacobs part and missed the "mom" part!!

Thats okay.. I was a tomboy as a child.. doesn't hurt my feelings!

If you really want to tone up your legs, take up Karate. I started just 3 months ago and my legs have gone from flabby to the most defined part of my body. I'm quite impressed. Plus its a fun full body workout
