ive heard that cottage cheese is digested very slowly so i eat it in the morning & before bed...but recently i looked at the ingredients of Breakstone's Fat Free SmallCurd & they say: "cultured pasteurized grade a skim milk, WHEY, less than 2% food starch-modified, salt, POTATO MALTODEXTRIN,..." etc. if it digests slowly how can it have whey & whatever potato maltodextrin is? (im assuming its some type of sugar.)

I've never seen any kind of cottage cheese w/ malto in it...I would switch brands and look for a creamed cottage cheese?

Don't use there FF Brand - Check out Breakstones 4% Milkfat instead you won't find that in there.
