This is my first time posting here to please take it easy on me. I've read the sticky's, but I am more interested in a diet made for my lifestyle. I am 20 years old, I am about 145 lbs., and I'm 5' 6". My goal is mainly to eat more healthy and maybe gain about 10 lbs or so. I'd like to define my muscles more. obviously I don't wanna get huge. On monday, wednesday, and friday I work an 8 hour day starting at 7am. I normally try to have a piece of fruit and a pop tart or something to get me going. For lunch I try to eat a turkey and cheese sandwich with some other snacks like peanut butter crackers and some cookies or something. This is where I tend to overeat the most after working 5 hours. When i get home i eat dinner around 5:30. This all depends on what mom's making. On tuesday and thursday I normally wake up at 10 have a crappy lunch at 11 and am off to school till 8. While at school i don't really have free time so i have to pack my food and eat in class. this normally ends up being a sandwich and some junk snacks. I know this was a lot for my first posting, Hopefully you don't mind helping. Thanks

Welcome,

The stickies that you read don't only pertain to a bodybuilder lifestyle. The information is valuable and can be used for any typr of lifestyle you want. It looks like in general your food choices are poor so and if you read the stickies you would know what kind of foods you should be eating (which aren't the foods you are eating). Why don't you take the information that you read and try and write up some sort of diet outline and post it so that people can give you advice on how to make it even better.

Welcome to IM!

Your diet basically sucks. Read thru some of the diaries to get a better idea of how you should eat.

Or look thru the threads here cause we have been over this numerous times.

Then formulate a diet plan, post it and we will make comments and suggestions.
