seriously, I have watched Payton grow and mature from day one and I can say he is easily the best point guard in the league, as well as the most underated. If you disagree its b/c you haven't watched him play enough. The triangle doesn't work well with a guard like him in the first place. He doesn't need an offense to revolve around him, he needs it to run through him, and so do the lakers! Gary is an unberlievable basketball player, and one of the most entertaining to watch play the game next to Jordan. I consider it a privelage to have been lucky enough to watch him play all these years in Seattle.

Originally posted by jaim91 That's a good point...for example, Minnesota doesn't have that many amazing players. They have a few, but because of their chemistry, they're in second. I predict it will be Indiana vs. NJ and Sac-town vs. Lakers in the conference semis...don't know where it will go from there. My hometown Raptors don't have a chance..I hope Minnesota makes it far. |

Originally posted by jaim91 That's what I'm saying, Spree and Kandiman had bad games, and when they have bad games, their team loses. A team can't depend on 1,2, or 3 people to help them win. Which is why it's amazing the Raps got Jalen. TAlk about depth. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll nad the 8th spot as a hail mary type thing. They just don't have the kind of energy they need, and other than Chicago tonight, they have tough games coming up,. |
