| Most children with type 2 diabetes are overweight. Doctors blame the increasing diabetes trend on unhealthy diets and inactivity. They also point out that many kids down several 20-ounce sodas sold in school vending machines each day, which can easily add 1,000 calories daily, all from sugar. |
I did a research paper on Diabetes a couple of years ago and learned A LOT...in fact I learned that with diet and exercise you can reduce your chance of getting diabetes by about 60%...that is a fuqing big difference. That is when I got my ass in gear and started walking and watching what I ate and that lead to weights and so on. Now I am much healthier and lighter...and you know what? I am really small to medium bone frame
