I'm pretty sure I'm eating too many shakes during the day....
I'm looking for the perfect real food alternative for:
16 oz. water, 1 TSP Flax, 30g (scoop and a half) whey protein.
to be eaten around 8 at night. Looking to not have to really cook it much....
Maybe lowfat cottage cheese, mixed with 1 TSP flax, and some oatmeal?
Tips? Already eat plenty of chicken, tuna, etc....and no eggs, please. Something I could whip up easily....

Don't buy the low fat cottage cheese. Just buy the regular stuff and you wont have to add the flax because it already has some fat in it.

Ok....so say I want to replace my 9PM shake, which is 16 oz water, 30g (scoop and half) of Whey protein, and 1 TSP flax seed oil with Cottage cheese just to get more real food in my diet.
Just 30g of protein worth of regular cottage cheese carries with it a lot of fat and carbs if I do the regular cottage cheese route, no?
Wouldn't I be better off grabbing some lowfat cottage cheese and just mixing in some flax? Should I add oatmeal?
