Hi new to this forum. Can any on recommend a good AB workout?

Sit ups.

Ummm...yeah. Or some sort of leg raise.

I understand what sit ups do for your abdominals. I was hoping for a little more intense type of 3-4 times a week type of workout. I suppose you would recommend walking for and excellent leg workout

Maybe for a GPP session.

No need for abs 3-4 times/week.

If you're gonna hit them at all, then do 2-4 sets total of sit ups and leg raises (or whatever variations you like) once a week.

Twice at the max.

This works for me. Lay on your back and begin to crunch up then bring your legs up to a 90 degree position, hold them there while you do 50 slow pulsing crunches, then drop them to a 60degree position and do 50 more crunches, then drop them to 30 degrees and do 50 more crunches. If you havent quit by now and want to kick it up a notch hold your legs at 10 inches for about a minute. This is a great ab workout for me, just remember to stretch out your back though.

what seems to work pretty well for me is 3-4 supersets of the following:

1.) situps until burnout on an exercise ball and quickly run over to
2.) hanging leg raises to burnout

the superset is what's important here. just doing one at a time doesn't seem to work much, but combining the two absolutely destroys me.

I have great results doing splitting my abs up 3 x's a week. Obliques on one day, crunch types the next, and leg raise types the next. Always vary the exercises too, never do the same thing week after week. One of my favorite ab exercises are Big Cats with small ankle weights. They are killer.
