Hey everyone, I was wondering how much it costs to get testosterone levels tested at the doc? I am thinking about doing this because I'm wondering if my lack in strength gains could be due to this...I eat like a horse and pretty well tuna, i.e. lots of protein, supplements, etc. and I train as hard as I can...this was a problem back when I lifted in high school for football, although it seems to be much worse now (being 15 squatting nearly 400lbs and benching 250lbs isn't too bad, but the gains came very slowly, even then.)
Also, what are some other signs one has if they have low testosterone levels??

do you have insurance? if so they should cover this test, otherwise you're looking at the cost of the office visit plus the T test. typical office visit to a general practitioner is around $75-$100 and the T test is around $100, so total costs should not be more than $200.00
