Hello everyone. I'm 35, 6'4" and currently 193lbs. I used to weigh 178lbs, wanted to bulk up, but could not gain a single oz. This was due to my daily diet; 3 meals a day and sometimes 2. I lifted weight but saw no results, so I gave up due to frustration. Until 3 months ago, my co-worker started to educate me about nutrition and about weight training. I started to change my diet and training routine. In less than 3 months, I went from 178 to 193lbs. Here are the past and present meal plans. I would like to hear your advice.

past: cup of noodle, or rice and chicken at 11am
rice and meat with vegie, a fruit 5pm
turkey sanwich at 9pm

now: 6 egg whites, peanut butter sanwich, banana, high
calorie (500 cal) shake (1/3 serving of Twinlab Fuel Gainer
2500) @ 10pm

Lasagna, or rice plus chicken and veggie, a fruit. or 5 sliced
of turkey @ 1pm

2 eggs, hashbrown, 2 sausages, peanut butter sanwich
@5pm

Rice plus chicken and veggie, a fruit @ 8:30pm

Workout 9:30pm,
high calorie (500 cal) shake (1/3 serving of Twinlab Fuel
Gainer 2500) and a high protien bar, post workout.

I am thinking of adding some creatine and glutamine to my diet. Can you suggest a good brand? I am glad I've found this forum. So much good info and great pp like you. Thanks alot.

Welcomer to IM

I feel that glutamine is a waste of money.
For creatine I like Pro-lab creatine monohydrate. (the one that says creapure on the bottle)
