Thanks to everyone who opened this thread.

Alright, here's the situation. I'm 18, 6'5, 192 pounds.

My upperbody has next to no muscle, and I'm basically all bone with some fat thrown in.

The goal is to build massive upper body muscle and expand my chest.

I bought "Massive Whey Gainer" and "Mega Men Multi-vitamin" as supplements.

Any suggestions? Am I on the right track?

A bit about my workout routine. My workout bench.

4 times a week, 50 minutes each time.

Start off: situps: 40.

20 minutes: Various exercizes for chest.

20 minutes: Bench press/curls for biceps and chest.

End: 40 more sit-ups.

The same thing every time...while taking the above supplements. Am I missing something? When can I see some results? I'm extemely sore already (a week in) and can see massive amounts of veins flowing threw the concentrated areas.

Thanks for reading.

it seems like you have alot of drive, but don't waste all of that energy on negative results. Your body needs rest to grow. You should not work the same body part so much especially if it is still sore. And even if legs are not your major area of concern you should still work them out. This will help you gain mass and overall strength, which will help on every lift. Plus you will be glad later. Check out some threads on mass building workouts on the training section and stick to it. As far as supplements, at your age save your money and concentrate on a healthy real food diet high in protien maybe toss in a protien powder. And please please don't get discouraged and take pro hormones or steroids don't ruin your potential.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

I especially like the sig of the guy with a quote from Arnold. No better way to convert me, let me tell you that.

My legs are already pretty big. I played hockey and walk a lot. I will take your advice on them though.

The problem is that I eat a lot of french fries (in olive oil.) Also, I eat a lot of fast food 'cause it's the only thing avaliable where I work.

I'm going to start bringing tuna sandwiches.

My workout place is my home lifting machine with a bench, bar, weights. I'm limited in what I can do methinks.

Thanks for the help again.

-Jim

Now why would you go and run some fairly decent advise, with your last sentence which was an ignorant, baseless statement used as a scare tactic?

sorry TP I just see alot of my friends that want results too fast and start relying on synthetic products before they get a good grasp of what will keep them big and healthy for life. I am not saying azura should never use these products, but with his frame and age he can accomplish alot on his own, plus gain real diet and training knowledge on the way. By the way do you search threads for people bashing prohormomes

Yep.

Actually, I agree he should not use them at this time and perhaps never.

I just take issue with the implication that taking PHs will "ruin your potential". The won't. There may be (and are) reasons why a newbie or young person or someone else shoudl not use PHs, I just thing we shoudl explain it with truth rather than false hyperbole.

Everyone above has some GREAT points. O.T.B is sooo right in saying "EAT LIKE HELL"
Be smart;
-Cut down on "useless" sugar (soda, candy, etc.)
-Eat good carbs, just try not to eat them & hit them too late in the night
-AVOID FAST FOOD LIKE A FIRST-TIME B.J. FROM A NEAR-SIGHTED TROLL OF A GIRL W/ NEW BRACES (Does that stress my point enough?) -This is the cut fat part of the diet, FF is LOADED w/ "bad" fats.
-Eat all the protein you can than go back for seconds!
-Drink so much water you piss your bed atleast 4 times a week
-Eat as MANY times a day you can. This will keep your bod running at optimum speed.
-Protein shakes are good just do NOT rely on them as too much of your source of protein. They help but cannot replace "food" proteins.
-Try some Creatine if you want to try a supp.. It has not been proven unsafe for someone your age & I say "It works" (Don't forget the drink alot of water part)...Myself, I do not cycle off Cre. & I often stay "loading" every other month or so. (Some people will disagree w/ this but it works for me off & on season.)

As ODIN said;
-You are over-training. Rest is as important as training in muscle growth. To put it simply; When u lift you tear down the muscle. As your body goes to work repairing the damage you have done lifting...IT GROWS & you get HUGE!!!!!!! A hi protein diet & rest (both good sleep EVERY night & enough time between training a body part) will enable this. The better the diet & enough rest and YOU WILL SEE RESULTS!
I am in a heavy, mass cycle right now & I dont usually touch same parts more than twice a week with the exception of abs (& traps..but thats me) -Print some w/o routines from the w/o forum.

I also see both points of ODIN & TP. Re:PHs' & Juice
-At 18 you probably have enough TEST pumping thru your veins to get a small Cambodian Village HARD! Use the growth potentiel u have naturally right now. After a few months of good training & great diet a PH might b-4-U.
I have used PH stacks & they DID help when I was off cycle (I am 32, things change....trust me)
-Try to save the gear as a last resort. Not gonna lie....it does work but u will see MUCH better results from it (if u ever decide 2 try it) if you get hard & put on muscle naturally first. I did my first cycle at your age & I truly wish I had waited.

-PS, don't measure your excercises by minutes (unless u belong to "Curves", instead, count reps & sets. Minutes alone make it almost impossible (atleast to someone on the boards) to tell if u-r overtraining or just slow between reps.

........Good Luck....Ask Questions....Listen 2 these guys...Become 1 with the IRON...ENJOY THE RIDE & GET FREAKIN' HUGE!!!!

PEACE.......SVEN
