Been at this just about 8 weeks, the weight lose was going well,
the last few weeks the scale has hit a stop,I'm still eating the same things (even though I'm tired of them). The weight training changes regularly (this week is circuit). Has anyone else out there ever just felt frustated with the results. And what did you do to get back in the swing of things?
Looking for ways to motivate myself and maybe others who wander on to this.
Thanks,

Try changing your diet around. Changes are needed sometimes to trick the body.

For motivation I go to some of the onlne fitness sites and look at all the beautiful models and think to myself "I want to be in their league".
Also, at some point when you have noticible results go buy some nice fitting new clothes and just walk in large public places like shopping malls and airports etc. Look around and take note of how badly out of shape almost every one is. Also, take note of people watching you watching them and see if you don't get some smiles. People like to see ane be around successful people. If you look trim and happy it will reflect back at you from others that are watching you. Also a walk on the beach etc. is always a good motivator - nothing better than getting a wrm smile or "hello" from somone to make you feel like it was all worth it. Then it just feeds on itself.

There is more to achieving your goals than vanity...you need to do it for yourself.

Excuse me FF - she asked for motivational techniques - please don't offer editorialized views that suggest such shallow motives ...
I am in the same boat as you the scale has been stuck for almost 3 weeks now. What ou might want to try is using a tape measure. Even though the scale hasn't changed I have lost about 5 total inched in those 3 weeks. Just keep the diet clean and going to the gym and the results will follow.
Thanks, everyone
I loved the article it says it the way it should be said.
I am changing up some foods this week, gonna have sirloin tonight.
I can see where watching people notice you is a motivational factor.
I think I'll do a tape measure for a while rather than a scale, I know I'm getting stronger so maybe the muscle is really replacing the fat.
Thanks,
