Hi,
My story have been on this forum few times, I did a hig carb, low fat diet 4 years ago, lost weight and went down to 8% bf, than started having problems like bloating, gasy all the time.

I came to this forum, it helped me gain knowledge on protein/fat, I did high protein/mod fat/low carbs, worked for while but than I stayed having problems again, such as craving, IBS.

I tried several ways of eating after that, CKD, Instinctive eating, not eating, bingeing.

I have been trying to eat normal, but have some kind of digestion -problem now, my stomach is upset now even if I eat protein, I am gasy, bloated, no food is working for me.

I felt sick yesterday, eating only protein, good fat and veggies, I was gasy and stomach was upset.

So today in the morning I had 1/3 cup oatmeal with 4 whites, crushed, slept for 2 hours, work up with a craving on bagel and mushroom soup, went and had it, since than I am better but extremely sleepy.

I am depressed and frustrated, I have tried to acheive good health, havent missed a day of gym since 3 years, but I am sick and bloated, people who are eating everything at my gym are leaner and happier, I have changed my whole life for this, and didnt work.

I DONT KNOW WHERE TO GO FROM HERE, HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP

Get checked-out by a Dr. You may have a hiatus hernia.

Your diet is probably not attuned to your body type. Just because it helps you lean out doesn't mean it's healthy for you. I'd recommend a good naturopath.

I would seriously talk to a doctorl. Something that is natural that you can by in a health food store that may help is accidophilus, it is "good" bacteria that helps with digestion.

Maybe try the zone diet, more of a balanced approach of protein/carbs/fat. Agree, with others, go see a doc to determine if this is from diet or something else.

Quenns...I think one of your major problems is the extreme ends of the spectrum in terms of dieting...as well as the lack of variety...and as mentioned you may have developed a medical problem.

As for the others in your gym...don't compare yourself to others...only compare you to yourself over time...everyone has different genetics....try to remember that.
