Testosterone - desperation

Hi

First post on this board so hoping everyone will be as helpful as all the other threads I've read have been.

I'm mid 20s and in desperate need of natural testosterone - my occupation/recreational/gym have all caused me to become run down and totally disinterested in sex. I am also finding it very hard to keep lean mass even though I am eating a 3000 cal/day diet with 250g protien & tough regime. I am resting as I always have but have since started working terrible hours.

I'm needing info on testo builders from foods and supplements please.

I used to be such a randy git - help!

I highly recommend that you go get your T levels checked, you may be in early stages of hypogonadism. If that is the case no food or supplements are going to be of much help.

I dont really think adding in a few foods is going to greatly boost testosterone levels, garlic though was recently in an article as being a natural T booster.

Julez,

I'm sure no expert, but I have felt the same way as you do, and I came to the conclusion that I was over training.

Has anyone else had this as a symptom of over training?

I have had absolutely no libido for the past few weeks. Even before I started at the gym again. I was hoping working out would boost my T levels. Just the other night my girlfiend wanted to have sex and I just was not interested. She got all pissed off and said "I swear you must be gay!"

Gotta do something about this!

What are you eating to get in your protein? Why not some foreplay which gives you plenty of time to get interested?

again, go to your doctor and request a testosterone test.

How are Test levels checked by a doctor, typically? oral, blood, what?

Blood test. They usually check Total and free levels, my doctor also checks Bioavailable which he says is a more accurate test.

It's weird how the scales of level change between labs.

Yep blood test, there is a saliva test but I have not heard that it is accurate, otherwise actually seeing a doctor instead of doing it via mail order would also use saliva.

They can also look at estrogen, cholesterol, kidney and liver, and a whole host of things, the more you check though the more $ to you.

And prostate
