Granola

Are granola and/or granola bars alright when bulking? I like to eat them as a snack but not sure if it is alright.

Granola itself, as in natural granola, is okay for bulking. Actual granola bars usually contain vast amounts of sugar, so should be avoided. While bulking you should try and keep your carbs clean, sticking to low gi carb sources and eliminating all, if not most sugars to progress with muscle gain while inhibiting fat gain

Sara told me about a granola she makes.

1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup hot water
1 egg white
Peanuts
cinnamon
(mixed all ingridients and place it in oven, till it's crispy)

Sounds good and I want to give it a try sometime.

Thanks Leslie and Jodi for the advice and ingredients.
I am going to add some natural granola to w8lifter's protein bar's to make it like a granola bar. Hopefully it will be good.
