i was just wondering what u guys mix with ur coffee.... in my school they have sweet and low sugar sub... is that ok to use....
and they have a non-dairy creamer...is that the samething as whipping cream...and if not is that ok to use with my coffee

thanx for the help

That non-dairy cream is full of crap. Sweet N Low is fine but if you need cream go with half n half or light cream or heavy cream, don't use that powdered stuff.

Sweetnlow is fine. Better off using halfnhalf or heavy cream. Stay away from the "powdered" stuff. Nothing good in there, at all.

Guess we posted at the same time

Too funny

Yep the powdered non-dairy creamer is full of aluminum amongst some other crap.

How about the flavored liquid coffee cream thats in the dairy section.

I don't know if it's the stuff your talking about, but my mom buys flavored creamer stuff, I think it's coffe mate by nestle - and I know it has partially hydrogenated oil as one of the main ingredients.

thats the stuff I'm talking about. I guess I go with flavored coffee and light cream.

Yeah that flavored cream is full of sugar too. I know it tastes so good but its bad.

i just use 1% milk and low calorie sweetner

it's obviously not the same as cream and sugar but it still tastes fine to me

how is coffee in general? i pretty much only grab a coffee when i feel the need for a wake up at work... which is usually anywhere from 2-4 times a week... is that ok?

i know some people who drink 4 cups a day... that's just ridiculous... i don't want to develop a dependence on caffeine to "feel good"

Posted by: Mudge

I think a cup a day is ok, I am doing 2 lately.

I use 1% milk and just a touch of honey.

It may sound weird, I hate coffee and don't drink it but I did try it once with vanilla protein powder mixed in and it tasted a lot better to me. Though the heat probably ruins it.

Posted by: RnRGirl

I was actually wondering about that. Could you make a "hot chocolate" from protein powder & hot water. Would the protein still be as good

Posted by: Jodi

I think coffee is fine.

Posted by: RnRGirl

I tried the hot chocolate thing & it was the worst thing I ever tasted so don't bother trying it.

Glad you decided to be a lab rat!
