school is about to start next week and I'm staying home this week

it requires me to eat at school, and I'm in no mood to eat stuff from the cafeteria

does anyone know of a good book for to go recipes? preferabbly ones that doesn't require me to heat up (don't think I'll have access to microwave), so maybe a book of sandwichs, but with all the dietary information (protein, calories, carb, etc.) because during high school my sandwichs were pretty plain, i mean REAL plain

it consisted of 6 slices of turkey, and 2 pieces of bread (lol)

i want a variety if possible, I don't mind making it the day before, but has to be quick, thanks

oh, also, if there a website you know, that would be nice as well

How many hours is this going to be from prep time, to actual consumption? I simply ask because things like miracle whip and such I have been fine with letting sit out for awhile say if its mixed in with my tuna.

miracle whip is nasty enough when it's cold, much less room temp.lol

will you have access to a fridge?

Keep a cooler.

walk aroudn with a small cooler?

Yeah. Hell bring a gallon of water too. If anyone gives you shit, you let them know you're improving yourself. Everyone secretly wants to be perfect. We all have different opinions on perfection, but even those that give you shit will envy your determination.

Eating healthy is not a matter of convenience. Convenience is what has everyone looking like crap...myself included.lol

Think of it this way, if it does not need to be cooled or heated, do you really want to be putting it in your body? You may not be "in the mood" to eat in the cafeteria, but you may not have a whole lot of other appealing options.

I eat my food in the school's cafeteria and work..as long as you eating the right healthy food, who cares what others think?
(i guess there is a new style of "how to eat" , it's called eating junkfood)

There are a lot of foods that are good that don't need cooling or heating.

No suggestions from anyone? I'm actually very interested in this too. I don't study, but my work puts me in the same situation.

We need to get together and gather recipes for people who want to be healthy but don't have the time for a real meal.

Sandwiches sound good. Some kind of turkey sandwich could work...
