Looks/sounds incredible. Maybe I will add this to my precontest arsenal!

Posted by: Leslie

It actually IS incredible. I just finished my bottle and the results from just this past week or so prove the positive effects, as long as you are in a caloric deficiet as well:

(from my Avant journal)

DATE......9/19/03.................................9/25/03
BW ............161.5 ........................................... 160.5
Waist......... 26 3/4 ............................................26
Hip *top .... 34 .................................................. 33 1/4
*butt ....37 3/4 ............................................37
*"saddlebag" area 37 ....................................... 36 1/8
Thigh ........22 1/4 ............................................21 1/2
Calf ........ 15 1/2 ............................................15 1/4
Bicep ....... 12 3/4 ........................................... 12 1/2

I only lost a pound...but inches where it counts.

Sounds pretty good!

You are sponsored by them though, you can't say they have a bad product...

Posted by: Jodi

I've been using it. Worked great but I'm not using this week due to the comp.

Yes I am sponsored by them. I have made this public knowledge. I also have an extensive background and history at this board and those who know me, know I am not a bullshitter. If it doesn't work I will not post it does. To be honest, I have not had any downs with Avants products. If they sucked, my "sponsorship" woul d be a waste of my time as I wouldn't want products I have no use for sent to me.

I am simply stating what it has done for me. Those who beleive, great, those you don't, thats your choice

Don't you think it's possible that the results came from the calorie deficit and not the product? I'm not calling you a liar but I guess it just is hard for me to believe since forever everything has said that spot reducing is a myth.

Read the article before making judgement on a product. I have also had great results from Avant's products.

We have been through this arguement before! Read the science behind the product. Lipoderm-Y releases the fat from the site(s) of application, and when combined with a caloric deficit, results in the effective realization of controllable “spot-reduction.”

That is just ignorance. If you understood how and why it worked, we'd be having a different discussion. Or perhaps the THOUSANDS of users over the past several years are all fooled?

In any event, Leslie is free to say whatever she wants, and that was part of the deal. She isn't paid, she only gets free product.

Interesting how three moderators are all in agreement. Take the time to read up on it, and then ask questions if something doesn't make sense.

And yes, Leslie's calorie redustion DID effect the loss, but if you notice the measurement changes, they are not uniform.

As well, Leslie is an experienced bodybuilder and dieter and knows well how her body responds.

I work for a rival supplement company, VPX, and I will still say that both Lipoderm and now Ab-Solved work very well as I have used both. These products are not miracle workers that will take someone's bodyfat from 20% down to 10%, but when you are eating properly and have a few troubled spots, these products make a measurable difference!

GP, what's your experience with Ab-Solved?

Started it about 2 weeks ago and I have lost about 1/2 inch on my waist. I am already pretty lean, but I feel that I carry alot of visceral fat even when my abs are clear. I wanted to see what effect Absolved could have on that, and it definitley yielded good results.

Excellent. What's your estimated BF?

When you read the science of the product, then we will talk. I do not know what is hard to believe as this is not a miracle product at all. One must diet in order to yield results. The difference is areas where fat loss stalls(my butt/hips) will be signaled to rid fat by use of the product. While my caloric deficit does promote fat loss, I know my body's response. I normally lose all my upper body and ab fat FIRST before the numbers budge from my lower body. With lipo this isnt the case. Everything is now getting smaller simultaneously. The prove is in my old journals from last year where you will see my thighs/ass not shrink unitl well into 6-8 weeks of dieting.

I understand your skeptiscm but to lash out that they are my sponsor and I have to say that it is good is a weak defense without knowing all the facts.

I have read the science on the product before. I didn't lash out...I just know that Ocean Dude was using Ab-Solved and I asked him what he thought and he said he saw no results and didn't recommend the product. But I suppose different people will respond differently and it may or may not work for some. I won't know either way unless I’ve experienced the product myself which I still need to do.

Yes everyone is different. If you do go ahead and try it, I would be interested in your results. Good or bad.

Ab-solved is a different product then the one discussed here. Either will only work on an area if you store fat due to the mechanism through which it works (cortisol or a-2 receptors).

It will not work on everyone.

I haven't actually taken it in awhile, but visually I can say I'm at about 7% right now, maybe a bit less. When I get to the Olympia I will either be a little higher or 2-3 % lower as I am deciding whether I will compete in the NGA Nationals within a week or two.
