Hi, I'm new here and was just wondering what you guys would recommend for a vegetarian diet. I am a college student, so it is difficult to eat well right off the bat, and to add to it, I'm vegetarian.

I want to lose about 10lbs while retaining muscle. I am about 6'1'' and weigh 175. I still have a little excess fat which I want to get rid of.

What types of foods will allow me to lose weight and still get enough essentials for my lifting workout? Should I buy multi-vitamins? I want to try and stay as natural as possible, so I'd like to stay away from protein supplements.

Thanks

Animal proteins found in chicken and beef are hard to beat.. However, being avegetarian is your personal choice. It would be much easier if you weere able to consume fish though

How about veggie burgers? They usually have some proteins. Powders will most likely end up being your best friend. If you cannot have fish I would at least throw is some fish oil caps or flax for your efa's.
