Due to the fact that Kobe may end up missing an indefinate part of the season depending on when they head to trial, Phil jackson has commented on his thought's of calling up his old pal Michael Jordan to replace Kobe on the Lakers roster just in case. Now this is probably not going to happen, the trial will most likely not start until the end of the season, but can you guys imagine the line up they would have! it would be all over, they would/already do have arguably 4 of the top players of the last decade or so at each position in the starting lineup! What do you guys think, I think that would be an awesome move for them, Jordan knows the guys, he loves Phil, he knows the triangle offense to perfection, he wouldn't hgave to be the main scorer like he was on the wizards. It could be a beautiful thing. Opinoins?

5-O'Neal
4-Malone
2-Jordan??
1-Payton

That would be insane. I already bet my boy $100 the lakers....i said if Kobe plays, Lakers would win with Shaq, Malone, Payton and Kobe. With Michael replacing Kobe, that would be the most insane shit ever!!!!!

Too bad i heard Michael wants to come over to our team and play for the Celts...Muwhaaaaaaaaaaa

Move Kobe to forward and have Jordan and Payton in the back court...can you imagine that lineup?

Centre - Shaq
Forwards - Bryant and Malone
Guards - Jordan and Payton

OMG...that would be just sick.

Well a day after Jackson's statement Jordan supposedly commented that he is in fact 100% retired and will not come back. We will see though, I personally believe that Michael can't stay away and wants to leave on top which he certainly did not in Washington, going out with the Lakers would be a better ending to the Jordan saga IMO, so we will see. It is lookin like Koba may indeed miss a large part of the season so you never know!
