I think this is a garbage charge personally but I want to hear others' opinions.

It's hard to tell and I don't know all of the details. NBA stars can get sex anywhere/anytime they want. But of course rape isn't about sex, its about violence and control of women and he blood was on his tee shirt. Not being a woman, I can't guess about the state of mind she would be in after a rape, but why did she wait to report it? And she can make a lot of money once this thing is over, conviction or not.

I just can't beleive this story Kobe had so much going for him and could bang any chick he wanted. He doesnt seem like that type, but then again we dont really know him.

I feel really bad for his wife

Ever wonder why its always sports starts in situations like this and not actors? Its weird. I have heard celebrities will have sex consent forms signed by their partners to avoid this in the future. Tacky but smart.

Some celebrities are smarter about stuff like this. I have heard many interviews with agents and managers who say that if their person wants to get action they simply buy a hooker. Saves a lot of potential hassle because sex is what they are paid for.

There was also an excellent interview with a former bodyguard in SI who said that something like this would never happen with proper security...if they had been there or on the ball then they would hear something and intervene.
