Counting carbs/calories in fiber?

Okay, I take in a LOT of fiber (by a LOT I mean anywhere from 50-80 g per day, I'm incredibly used to it by now) from xanthan gum, ground flax seed, guar gum, corn bran, wheat bran, fibrous veggies and fruit, and I've been wondering if I should count these fiber sources in my total calorie count, and if I should just count the starch count in my carbohydrate total (ie I eat a whole cup of oat bran to equal half a cup of oats, should I not be doing this?). It seems like a really simplistic and rudimentary question, and I'm rather embarassed about having to ask it to begin with. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Peace.

Really it doesn't matter either way, but your body cannot process fiber therefore the cals are null.

Cool, seeing as how 85g would=340 extra cals per day...
Peace.
