I was just wondering for muscle gain, how much rest would you want between sets? I dont time myself but I think i rest about 20-30 sec, is that too little to rest? should i push it up to a minute?
From what ive seen more rest = strength training
Less rest = muscle building
60-90 seconds from what I hear, I use 80 seconds on my stopwatch which will work to about 90. I was using 2 minutes previously, and I'm liking the 90 seconds, even though I lift SLIGHTLY less at each progressive set.
I am willing to break the 90 second rule for squats and deadlifts.
