Hey everyone just figure I would say I am still doing squats and its been like a month now and they are getting easier. I am still at lower weights but I have notcied an increase in overall strength of my legs. I can't wait to master them. Thanks for all the help with them.

Im gonna save a post and throw a question in here, I hear people say that squats and deadlifts are like two of the best overall workouts to do. But my question is which do you do and when? I have heard of a few varieties and am not sure which one would be best for me and also what day do you do them on, legs? back?

Thanks again everyone.

Squats on leg day. Deads on back day. At least 2 days in between.

Hi there,

I am fairly new to debating on the internet!

You ask for variety?

I think frontsquats and deadlifts are the perfect combination for overall leg development. Frontsquats will target your quadriceps and take the lower back out of the equation. On the other hand you have the deadlift that targets your entire posterior chain -> lowerback, hamstrings, and buttocks. I think there is way to much overlap between the back squat and deadlift. I dont think there is any reason for doing both unless you are a powerlifter.

I admit it takes a bit of practice and flexibility to master the frontsquat. But theres no reason to be afraid of doing frontsquats. I think frontsquats is a much safer alternative than the back squat. The weight is not resting on your back and it is easy to get rid of the weight and throw the weight away from your body. Thats my humble opinion.

best regards
