My grand parents saw me for the first time in 3 months and they could not belive how much weight I have lost. A comment was made that in my family gene's were not that great when it come to bodybuilding and getting defined. ERRRRHHHHHHHHH. If I continue a good diet and continue to work out hard is it possible that I will not see any definition in my muscle's because of gene's. Another words if i work out hard will I see definition regardless of gene's?

some one please help me so I can sleep tonight. Ha Ha

Genetics play a huge role in determining how far you will be able to go in the BB game. For instance no matter how hard and how many years you train and hoe many drugs you take, you may never look like a antional level competitor, where as someone else may be drug free and have taht physique just come to them. However you still have the biomechenical workings of a human body and if you train and diet correctly according to your needs, you will see results. There is no need to worry about it, your hard work will pay off as long as you keep a reasonable set of goals to reach for bro. In other words, you can get very very lean and add lots of muscle to your frame relatively speaking if you work for it, you just may not be a pro BB.
However I must warn you that by telling yourself that is it OK if you don't get here or there b/c you have bad genetics, you are inturn setting yourself up for failure. Genetics or not you can accomplish great things and by telling yourself that you have bad genetics to work with, it becomes a self fullfilling prophecy. Your mind is the most important tool in BB and it sets the limit, not your physical reach. Every time you think to yourself that you have bad genetics, think about the people out there that have truley bad genetics and maybe you just don't have Pro BB genetics. Bottome line, do not limit your growth mentally bymaking excuses like genetics. Always stay postive and believe that you can reach your goals, never let thoughts like that enter your mind other wise you have set yourself up for failure by accepting it in advance. Hope that helps bro

Good advice Thanks man. The only reason why I posted that question was becuase of a comment that was mentioned. I never even thought about genetics untill tonight. Trust me I am in this for the long run and have great motivation to have a nice not big just defined body. Yeh Im addicted to working out now. I actually get upset when its my day off from the gym. Today was my day off I went anyways to do some cardio. I want it bad.

Plenty of people have gone from fat to ripped, study up on diet because there is a lot to know. Maybe try searching for some of John Romano's cookbooks.

Vanity your giving me the raw end of the deal here. I was not whining about genetics I was simply asking a question about genetics. If you would have payed closer attention to one of my posts I stated that I had never thought of genetics. It was a comment that was maid. Plus how could I cry about genetics when I have only been working out for a little over two months. I was simply asking a question about genetics and you gave me a sarcastic answer.

Posted by: once was fat

IMO this was a general question. It had nothing to do with whining. I only asked from a first person view that if you do not have the genes can you still build a defined not huge body.

When I'm feeling shitty I try to remind myself of this, damn good advice. You always have something to be thankfull for, many others are significantly worse off.

most lyrical rapper in the world

Do you know what time it is foo?

Ya damn right I know what time it is.

Early on Eminem was being compared to Shakespear so I gave a listen, a big crossed over my mind as I was not impressed.

Posted by: Prince

I do not like HIM, I just like working out to his music.

Posted by: perfecto

you dont have to like his character but his music and lyrics are almost genius

Andre 3000 from Outkast is a better MC and lyricist than Eminem... imho... especially some of his older stuff... guy has crazy skillz... I think Outkast maybe one of the greatest hip hop acts ever... I love the raw essence and realness of 2Pac, as far as I am from that reality... white, suburban upbringing, lived in Europe for 5 years growing up, not military, father was a missionary/pastor my whole life... i still remember my dad finding my "The Chronic" CD hidden in my room and the big green marijuana leaf on the CD... he broke it in 2 pieces immediately...

Posted by: Flex

if you guys wanna talk about lyrics and rhyming abilities, Method Man is #1. guy thinks of the sickest shit ever, combined w/Rza's beats, best rap out (all his older shit of course, new Wu shit kinda sucks)

Posted by: HoldDaMayo

I don't think Method Man is as good as either Eminem or Andre 3000... but he has done some good work, all older of course...

Posted by: perfecto

yer andre from outkast is siccass, even eminem gives him credit in i tink.. 'when the music stops'

Posted by: gr81

if you guys just want to talk about who is the best strickly from a lyricist standpoint then none of the right names were mentioned. You have to talk about Big L, Eminem, Cannabis, Rass Cass, Talib k, Bigge Smalls, Yukmouth, Big daddy kane, and some lesser known fellas like that. Method Man and outcast may be dope rappers but they are far from the best LYRICISTS ever.

Posted by: perfecto

yer and in terms of whos better out of all of them i dunno what you judge lyrics on but eminem cains all of those cunts, i dont even know why ppl say biggie was a mad lyracist, he just flows in a certain way. I think necro is quote good lyrically but most wudnt agree

Posted by: perfecto

snoop flows really well, 'doggystyle' is one of my favourite albums of all time

haha nice 1

I listen to Kid Rock when I work out, Cocky is the best, I'm always cocky when I hit the bench, It's like "I'm going hit this mother for at least 3 reps" (even if I only got 1 last weeks)
Anyway Kid Rock really puts me in the mood to hit it hard.

Posted by: gr81

don't even come in here with that kid rock shit, he is the wackest artist in history. there is nothing creative about his music, he can't write for shit, and he is a bitch to top it off. fuck that shit and fuck kid rock, little bitch ass piece of white trash. I have no respect for anyone who bumps that shit.

Posted by: SJ69

Posted by: oaktownboy

kid rock is an embarassment

Posted by: oaktownboy

also i really don't see how u put Outkast ahead of Biggie Or Tupac

Posted by: oaktownboy

Biggie and Tupac have done way more for the game than Outkast will ever do their entire life
