need help on athletes nutrition!

hey, you know im a basketball player and in the squad. i have regular training about 4 times a week. im trying to cut EVEN SOME MORE fat off my body, like around 5 lbs? i heard that low carbs diet affect sports performance... any other way to lose that 5lbs without cutting out too many carbs? and how much carbs does an 178lbs 6'0 at 9.5% body fat need?
