Heard that in Canada you can get gear for "personal use"
Anyone know if this is true and if so how does one go about it?
If so, probably in very limited amounts.

It means the government looks the other way while you do so, you cannot visit a pharmacy, but if you have gear at home you will not be prosecuted for personal amounts.
You can posses, but not buy or sell - so this is decriminalized, not outright legal.

It is also legal to smoke pot, but not in your own home. So it is essentially legal to do steroids because they will "look the other way" as it is not important to them.
