I had no idea there were carbs in mussels...what on earth is going on?
Also, does anyone know the sodium content of frozen shrimp that's preserved in sodium bisulfite?

Glycogen is stored in the liver, if that is what you mean.
If you are boiling or rinsing your shrimp I am sure that some sodium will wash away.
