Baboon, the Rams! Please, the D is still weak. The Colts, no way! They have the worst D in the league this year. Possibly worse than last years Rams. Being impartial, I'd say Tampon Bay and Baltimore. The Eagles may be there, they have as good a chance as anybody. How's the fantasy league coming along. What do I get when I win?

Anyone care to make a pre-season Super Bowl prediction?

I am going with the Rams over the Colts. True, I am a Rams fan. But I think their defense is improved enough to get them another championship. If they had anydefense whatsoever last year, they could have won it. I think the young Indinapolis team has matured another year and are poised to break through.

Make your picks now, because I'll be bumping this thread come January!

My apologies to Saints and Giants fans, but I see those two teams slipping back to .500 status.

Rosters are pretty much set except for those lAst minute cuts. MAKE YOUR PICKS, PEOPLE!

BroadStreet, BroadStreet, BroadStreet.....the Rams D is MUCH improved over last year. You'll see in week one when your Pigeons lose 38-10.

By the way, Baltimore has no QB and their RB is out for the season. A good defense will only get you so far. Tampa Gay is a decent pick. No arguments here, except that the Rams will take them.

Defensive Line

The DE's stink, Mickell an 11th rated FA. Jones, 3 sacks in full time duty last year, and Little, a blown up linebacker. These scrubs will never hold the point of attack.
Interior Line

Lewis, Zgonina, Agnew and rookie first round reach Pickett. The weakest in recent memory.
Linebackers

Special teamer Davis, Fletcher and Fields. Sorry, but this crew is grossly undersized.
Corners OK, not bad.
But they'll need to be good since you'll never get any pressure on the QB.
Safety

Archuleta is grossly overrated! He's frail, will never hold up for a season. As for my Raven pick. True! losing Searcy and Lewis will hurt, but they sill have the D and their O cant be much worse than last year. Feel free to diss the Eagles. It looks like you and I are the only ones willing to joust. This may become the Baboon, BroadStreet fencing Forum.

Hey now....considering there wasn't JACK SQUAT available for defensive free agents, the Rams did a good job of overhauling the D. Just how good CAN one team upgrade over one off-season? Not too much, but the Rams took some big steps. As a fan, I am happy with what they did. If they can hold teams to 25 points a game intead of 35, it's an improvement. But I think they'll be better than that.

Ok, The free agent market was lean, especially at WR. I thought for sure the Rams would move on Marcellus Wiley or Ted Washington. Proven defensive line talent. I would of traded one of the first round picks for a solid vet instead of trying to develop rookies. I think they should of done more to solidify the DL. Aeneas Wiliams was a good pick-up, but I would of used the money on the DL, your secondary wasnt that bad last year. Your D should be better, but I think it still will kill them in the playoffs. I think teams with good running games will give you alot trouble.

Chargers, they are going to double there wins from last year. Seriously they are the most improved team in the league and will bein the playoffs this year. Now the Super Bowl?, not yet.

Well, there are many more factors that cannot be foreseen, such as injuries. No matter how good a team looks now, means nothing if several key players are injured.
