Well well folks, it is almost playoff time for the NFL and it is time to vote in this poll as to who you think is gonna make the Super Bowl. It is december so it is late enough into the season to make a good guess right! Lots of interesting picks seeing as there are so many teams that could still be in or out of the playoffs even. Yes it is a multiple choice poll so choose two teams you think will battle it out for it all. Thats right!

-The Chiefs are obvioulsy the best team in the league record wise although they recently lost the Bengals and havent' looked as strong in there victorys. Trent Green is coming off a bad performance also. They still have IMO the best back in the leaque in the Priest and possibly the best offensive line. Anothr stat is the team who was teh last team to lose in the reg season almost always make the Bowl! chew on that.

-New England has possibly been playin better ball than anyone in the NFL with 8 straight wins, they haven't lost to a team with a winning record yet. They hung on to beat the Colts by a yard last week and have a great QB and MVP candidate in Tom Brady. They really look great this year, best start ever if I remember correctly.

-How about The Bengals who have been on fire lately. Thats right I am jumping on teh bandwagon. Ha. I have been a huge fan of their coach Marvin Lewis, I just love him and their QB John Kitna is having an MVP season as well. Plus their running game is one of the best, you never know. Go Cinncinnati!

-You gotta love The Colts who areobviously one of the best offensive threats with Manning, Harrison, and James, but there D has been solid most of the season too for them. They beat the Titans convincingly earlier in the season and had that great comeback from 21 down with 4 left in teh 4th Q against the Buccs, I love the Colts as well. Having a great year.

-The Titans have the MVP of the league in my mind in Steve McNair and have been playing very well riding his shoulders. Problem is teams can expose their non existant running game which is suprising since Eddie George is in the back field. I was much more confident until they lost to the Jets who are a 4-7 team on monday night. We will see about Tennesee.

-The Eagles Started off teh season with a few losses and looked out of sync. Lately they have a 7 game streak going and Donavon McNabb looks like he is the DMcNabb of old. Where the Eagles go is however far He carries them. As always their D is strong.

- Alot of people are picking The Cowboys to go far in the playoffs this year. I like Parcells and what he has done definately. He has them playin above their potential but I think the inexperience at QB will hurt them in the playoffs. There Dfense is lookin very very impressive though.

-The Panthers have been the suprise team this year but have shown they are a legit competitor for sure. They have beat some impressive teams this year and there D is lookin good. I am not as impressed with Delehome as others but Stephen Davis is running like a great back and keeps options open for their passing game. If they D can play lockdown football they can go far in the playoffs IMO.

-The Rams started off the first few games behind the Hawks in the division and lost the head to head game in Seattle but since then they have played great football. There passing game is on que as always, Holt is having an awesome year and Bulger is more or dependable. They have been doing it all without Faulk really contributing consistently and have a great chance to go to the dance.

-The Seahawks have really not proved that they can be a steady football team. They started off the season looking like the best team in the NFC and they did beat the 49ers and Rams early on. Since then they haven;t played 60 mins of football and it has been there weakness. Hassleback is just playin awesome football, he defn should be a pro bowler this year. The problem has been the receivers and the D. The did lose to some pretty bad teams lately that they should've beat like the Redskins, Bengals, and Ravens. It is all up to them to prove they can be consistent. They are undefeated at home but are 1-4 on the road so they need to beat Minnesota @ there place this week and win out to make the playoffs. We will see how they finish, it will be a true test of what kind of team they are.

I know there are some other teams I missed but I can only have a 10 team poll so if there are other choices then post ethm, let it be known. Minnesota, Green Bay, Denver and Miami all have a good chance in making the playoffs also so my bad, I am not ignoring them. Either way it should be a great final couple of weeks of football. I Love this time of year, don't you!?!?!? yeah baby

Priest Holmes and the Chiefs offensive line are the shit. Looks like Gonzales is kicking ass again too. The Chiefs all the way bro!

Gotta disagree with you here. I know where you are coming from, but this past Sunday the only realy screw up was the punter's brain cramp. O and D played a full 60 minutes.

Damn right!

If they can't win one of the next two games, they will not even make the playoffs and if they do, it will be on the road so they might as well have missed them entirely.

Here's my prediction...they come out fired up and beat the Vikings convincingly. That sets up a show down with the Rams for the NFC West title on 12/14.

I hate the Rams!

Don't be a Ram hater.

The Rams are my pick in the NFC. Bulger struggled for a few games and Marshall Faulk was recovering from an injury, yet they still managed to win their games. Now Bulger appears to be back on track and Marshall Faulk is 100%. Just look at what they did to Minnesota this past weeked: 48-17. There is no team in the NFC the Rams can't beat. However, they need home field advantage because they are much tougher at home than on the road.

I'm going with the Patriots in the AFC. They are a complete team and their defense can stop KC, IMO. The Pats' offense has no single guy that will beat you. It's a balanced attack.

Can't wait to see the playoffs in the AFC...Patriots vs. Chiefs in the AFC Championship. I would also like to see the Colts vs. Titans matchup, which could also happen.

As for NFC, I could care less....would love to see the Panthers though because they are this years' surprise story.

GO PATS

Pats are on fire brothas. they seem to play to there opponents level (which is good against good teams and bad against bad teams), but most importantly, they are finding a way to win.

Brady is doing great now. All you Brady-haters/Bledsoe lovers (that were talking shit about Brady/amping up Bledsoe after week 1 can kiss my ass). dont get me wrong, i love drew, but everyone was like "they made the wrong decision blah blah blah".

Best thing is the pats have been winning with EVERYONE out. But slowly guys are returning. Big teddy washington is back, and jamming up the middle. Ted johnson is back at LB. our "best" WR's are still out, but who needs 'em haha Deion Branch is having a great year, and don't get me started with BETHEL!!!

P.................A.....................T......... ........S

PATS PATS PATS!!!

Miami is quietly creeping into the playoff scene with the impressive victory over the Cowboys and their #1 defense........I will brace myself for the attack....... I guess we will see at the end of December......If Miami can play the type of game they played against the Cowboys (Complete some long pass plays) the rest of the season they will surprise a lot of people. There won't be 8 men in the box all the time and then it will balance out the offense..... Key to getting into the playoffs: Spreading out the defense.

maybe Kansas, NOT the Broncos!

The Rams D will leave snot dangling from Hassleback's face guard if and when they meet again.

They meet on 12/14 and the Rams Defense does not scare me at all. The offense does. Their D is fine but we manhandled a tough Ravens D...we'll move the ball and score. Can we stop the Rams? I just don't know.

AFC will win. I dont think there is a STRONG NFC team right now.

I agree. dare i say the Pats? kicked Miami's ass today. right now, our D looks incredible. I could've went to the game if i had a) a car (which got killed on thurs) and b) wasnt sick (feel like i'm gonna die). it would've been sweet.

with KC's loss today, my boys clinched the AFC East.

and if they win out, they will have a 1st round buy as well home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

this has nothing to do with the playoffs but big Mike Vick is back with avengence baby!! ran for 143 yrds nad passed for 170ish, and the Falcons beat teh Panthers. How much of a difference does he make for that team for gods sake! I love watching him play, and I am very happy he is back and lookin good, even though it is only for a few games. that is all

Posted by: Pepper

Vick is fun to watch. I had a chance to go that game and declined. b/c I wanted to watch the Seahawks.

GO EAGLES

NFC

Cowboys - The only chance they have is if they play teams with a bad defense. Lost to the Eagles, Bucks, Miami, Pats and the fluke Falcons with out Vick. But they cant score against a good defense and give bad feils position to their defense

Eagles - They started slow but Donavan had a bad thumb now that hes healthy look out.

Rams - they might have some fight in them

AFC

Broncos - if Jake was there all season they would be looking really good watch out for them

Pats - They have talent and have a suberbowl team

KC - We gotta see. They had some CLOSE wins earlie on in the season and lost 2 allreay.

Colts - Manning leading the way tuff team

Titans - A strong team but lost to the Colts and Jets 2 game loosing streak

But like i said AFC is winning it this year they are too strong.

Prince,
I seem to recall you weren't too high on Jake the Snake pre-season...am I remembering correctly?

Posted by: Prince

No, I was a bit skeptical, but I always felt that he would do well, BUSTINOUT was ripping on him. He said he was glad they got rid of him.

Yeah, they are much better off with Jeff Blake.

They are 10-3, have won 5 in a row, and have scored the most points in the NFC. Yeah, they have a little fight in them.

Yeah but 1) they can't cover a 6.5 pt spread at Cleveland...man, lost my ass on that one and 2) they have a date with destiny this Sunday....Seahawks come to town...(yeah, I know, but I can hope)

DA PATS have always been my fav team, but KC this year is just playing so well.

The Patriots and on the AFC side, Either Philly or the Rams, whoever gets home field advantage for NFC.

Posted by: Prince

okay, another poll needs to be created, especially since the Broncos are not in this one.

Posted by: Dero

...and the Packers are NOT on dat list.

Titans are winning it. Pats are the only other team that has a chance. Also, the NFC just sucks.
