I am now just in my 3rd week of training and although I am already taking all of my protein shakes, I was wondering how soon do I start supplementing creatine? is their any set time advised before starting a cycle?

If you are just starting out, get your dietary practice in check first, once it is ready, slowly add in other supplements such as creatine.
I would wait a little bit but it should'nt be a problem once you start gaining some weight.
