Get ready, Pepper!!!

Seattle is 1-5 on the road, Rams are 6-0 at home.

The Rams are fully healthy and both the offense and defense have been on a roll. This could be a tough game for Seattle, but then again you never know. "That's why they play the games", as Chris Berman says.

methinks the rams are superbowl bound.

I have zero confidence in this game, but anything is possible.

Seattle beat the Rams last year in St Louis.

A loss by Seattle is going to make the playoffs very difficult. It truly is do or die time.

Well see

That is the problem. I don't htink Seatt;le has any confidnce either on the road!? They will have ot play great tp ull this one out. For Seattle this game is a muct win IMO. Winning the two games after thsi mean nothing if they can't prove to themselves they can beat a good team on the road.

IAB, you around?

Seattle D off to a good start...Safety!

NFL to Seahawks - "Sorry, we f'd up again"

Posted by: Pepper

Same play...even though Bulger gets hit 1 second late and a flag is thrown...Hasslebeck getting decked a full 5, maybe 10, seconds after the pass is thrown...no flag....

fuck teh refs and fuck the nfl if this stuf is allowed to go on! the god damn referees COST US A GAME AGAIN!! WE SHOULD'VE ON THAT GAME EASY, I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SHIT!!

Pepper, that was indeed very unfortunate that the ref got in the way on that play, but you really have to accept that as part of the game. Not like it was a blown call or anything.

The Hasselbeck hit was pure bullshit. I don't care what teams are playing, I hate to see a QB take a sucker hit like that. Knocking a QB out of the game on a hit like that only lessens the quality of the game.

In any case, Seattle played a tough game. I am glad the Rams hung on though. Marshall Faulk was the difference at the end. Now I need Philly to lose tonight and the #1 seed will be in our control.

We did not lose b/c of the officiating. I agree with that. You just have to understand, when it seems that every time a call can screw you, it does, it gets a little frustrating.

As I have said before, God hates the Seahawks.

I can live with the Rams taking the division, they are clearly a very good football team. However, the Seahawks are essentially out of playoffs now unless some weird stuff happens.

OK, not to belabor the point but, I have to mention the BS taunting call on DJ after his TD.

Quote:
"They call that taunting, and I am a firm believer in the taunting rule; I don't think there is any place for taunting your opponent," Holmgren said. "But Darrell caught the ball, got hit twice after the catch and they say he threw it at an opponent and he didn't do that. Both guys were on the side and he was facing outward and he spiked the ball hard. It was a reaction to him getting hit and I don't think he was taunting.

"Again, I am emotional about it. It gave them 15 yards on the kickoff, which is a huge penalty. They scored on that drive after that. Against the Rams, you can't give them 15 yards. They move the ball too easily as it is. I thought the call was wrong. Now tomorrow, if I am wrong, I will phone the officials and apologize."
