I have been getting bad headaches and feeling bloated for a few days now. I have been using Splenda in my morning oats. Not anymore.

I have used it too and had no side effects. I think the key is just not to over do it.

I use it everyday no problems, I used to use Sweet-n-Low and I switched to Splenda.

Yeah, Mercola and his followers are a bit over zealous IMO!

You can find some good stuff there but take it with a grain of salt.

I just know how it affects me. When I don't use it, no headache or bloating. When I use it, I get it. I don't use that much.

I am not saying it is the worst thing in the world, just a link to help some people.

Splenda did a number on me, as did other artificial sweeteners.

I think mercola is a good site, and have posted articles off of it here because they are interesting, but often if you listened to what they say you wouldn't be able to eat or drink anything unless it was organic, filtered, unprocessed, etc...far harder and more expensive than any BB diet.

I usually just use the rule of thumb of staying as natural as possible.
