Different rest times

My rest times are usually about 70 seconds, however with certain exercises I have different rest times. For flies I may only rest 30 second, yet with Military press I'll rest up to 80 seconds. Is there anything wrong with this?
Also, What effects do rest times have? Example lifting heavier and having more rest, (like 2 - 3 mins) or lifting lightr and resting only 50 - 60 seconds. Thanks

The conventional opinion I see most often around here is that for mass-gaining, you're ideally looking at 60 to 90 seconds rest between sets - your times are thus perfectly acceptable.
Longer rest periods (2 minutes plus) seem to be more applicable to those who want to gain raw strength, or at least that's what I've read here.

Thanks, *bump* as I have another question
How much rest do you take when you change EXERCISES, ie from the last rep of your last set to your first rep of your new exercises first set
I ask as because when I change exercises I have to transfer weights, which can sometimes take up to 3 mins. Is this amount of rest time causing detrimental effects to my workout

i wouldent think so ,it diffurs i guess from person to person if u think that helps then go along with it but everyone needs sum time to recoup for a different workout
