Is protien ok for me??

Im just curious if protien is safe for me. Im using Mega Whey. Im 17, gonna be 18 in May. Im 6'1'' and 185 lbs. I lift 4 times a week.
Should I be using protien? If so, how much should i be consuming.
Im descently built and wanna get bigger for football. I play guard and linebacker.

ha ha, yes protien is ok... You have alot of reading to do don't ya, but its all good. Protien is the building block of muscle, it is vital in the recovery process. you can't really build muscle without it. Good luck and read up dude

Protein is a nutrient, not a drug, so yes food is ok for you. Muscle is meat and meat is made of proteins.

lol this thread reminds me of me when i first started out... heheheh, i used to think that taking protein is going to get me steroid results,,,hahhahhaha damn so be easy on the kid maybe someday he will be Mr. O for al you know.
