Hi everyone... I'm new to the boards. I just started weightlifting about 6 months ago and so far so good.
I have a quick question on Creatine. If I am trying to tone up and slim down, should I still take it? Does it make you retain water and bloat your muscles? Or is that a good thing as long as you're burning off the fat layers?
I lift 3-4 times a week, run for 30min 2-3 times a week, and play hockey on Thu & Sun nights. I try to take a protein shake during the day and post-workouts. And also just started taking multi-vitamins. Is there anything else I should through into the mix to help out?

yes, creatine will cause intramuscular water retention, and with some even a little bloating. I use creatine year round bulking or cutting.
