I eat pork only rarely. I try to stick to beef, chicken and fish. I assume you could eat it, but isn't pork higher in fat than other meats?

look it up on fitday..
im seeing it fairly comparable to dark meat chicken in terms of fat (lean only eaten) and the pork has higher protein of the two..
HAN said its ok for me to eat..
if you're worried about the fat...dont add extra fat to that meal

Pork tenderloin has I believe 3-5g of fat per 3 ounce serving, so it's comparable to eye of round, I use it in place of chicken breast or eye of round occassionally, plus it has really good texture/flavour.
Peace.

I eat pork chops once or twice a week. I trim all access fat before cooking. Its a great addtion when chicken gets a little boring. I do eat a smaller portion than chicken when eating pork chops.

Buy tenderloin, not chops, tenderloin is the leanest cut of pork and is comparable to eye of round and top round.
