Bulking Question

I've been following w8lifter bulking diet for about a week and have a couple questions. One is I've been eating sweet potatoes as my only slow burning carb. I substitute the sweet potatoe for the rice and the oatmeal because I can't stand them. Is this ok?

As far as vegetables, I've been eating fresh or frozen carrots, broccoli, & zuchinni. The only veggie I question is the carrots. Are these ok to eat?

If you only like sweet potatos then that is fine.

Carrots however are not ok. They are very high in sugar.

thanks Jodi, you've been a great help....

Zucchini isn't great either. And why can't you buy fresh veggies? Frozen stuff is wack.

Peace.

Nothing wrong with zucchini. What do you think that?

Fresh is always better but due to time constrictions I usually buy frozen as well. Never canned though

^^ Do what I do, buy the pre-packaged, pre-washed and triple-rinsed spinach bags, haha, we have those in Canada and I eat 2 and a half bags a day. Put in bowl, pour in homemade dressing, and you're good to go...it's just strange carrying 20 bags of spinach and a separate bag of collard greens and radiccio home and being looked at funny.

Peace.

Carrots not ok for a bulk? Pah-lease, I think they're fine.

I think carrots, tomatoes and corn etc. are good sources of carbs if you're not into whole grains and whatnot.

Peace.

This is a high fat plan. Its not your typical bulking plan, so no I do not think carrots are fine on this plan.
