I FINALLY found this at the grocery store. I bought the fat free and 2% chocolate, and I must say that I am quite pleased. Yay, I can finally have milk again lol.

I'm glad you found it

Much better than Soy Milk

Posted by: Av8tor

It would be great if they carried the stuff out here in the Midwest!

Posted by: greekblondechic

OMG the nutrition facts rock..its protein milk basically

i hope i can find this!

Posted by: aggies1ut

I am in love with this milk.....

Posted by: aggies1ut

Wow, I just tried the 2% choc. with my choc. whey protein...mmmm...it'll be hard to go back to whey with just water again lol.

Posted by: nikegurl

i haven't been able to find it but if aggies1ut found it in san diego...that gives me hope (i'm in LA) so i'll keep looking!

Posted by: HoldDaMayo

hmm.. where did he find it, I'm in north county San Diego and I haven't seen it yet...

Posted by: Dale Mabry

I couldn't see this tasting very good considering they doubled the sodium in it. What does it taste LIKE?

By the way, i thought Splenda was bad for us this month? Well, maybe it will be healthy for us again next month and I can start having it.

Posted by: greekblondechic

splenda: innocent until proven guilty

and when proven guilty, still widely accepted

like aspartame

I am eating my words, I just bought some carb countdown fat free milk and Kashi and just had it, it tastes pretty much like regular skim. I almost bought the chocolate kind, but didn't want the extra saturated fat and I would just drink the whole thing if I had it.

Posted by: greekblondechic

does anybody know the lactose content?

im guessing its fairly low since its low carb

i had coffee with regular milk and my tummy hates me today

Posted by: vanity

I would imagine it has zero lactose.

Hey Mayo and Nike, I found it at Von's......which is technically Safeway in Nor Cal and everywhere else for that matter.

Posted by: Av8tor

I just found it at Dierberg's in St. Louis.

How would this be worked into TP's carb cycling? Could I even drink it, it's not on any approved list.

Posted by: plouffe

Kinda taste like cream but it's good. Like 3.00 + a gal. though.

Thanks bro! I'll be on the lookout!

Posted by: nikegurl

really? are the von's in san diego on strike too?

i've tried ralphs and albertsons in los angeles with no luck. i'll have to try vons next! thanks!

Posted by: aggies1ut

Von's is still on strike, but <shrug> I go there anyways because I love Safeway...as I will always call it, since I am from NorCal.
Btw Mayo, I'm a chick. LOL

Posted by: HoldDaMayo

ooops, sorry

Posted by: aggies1ut

Haha, it's cool. What part of North County are you in? I live downtown.

Posted by: HoldDaMayo

you're lucky! I would love to move downtown... however, my office is in Oceanside, and that's also where i live... I'm not much into commuting... I'm down in the gas lamp or old town about once a month... or maybe PB occasionally...

Posted by: aggies1ut

I actually live on 9th and go to school in Old Town.

Posted by: HoldDaMayo

very cool...

I actually got some of that Atkins low carb 2% milk today. Was really impressed... you could tell by the taste that it didnt contain as much sugar as regular milk does. Yet, it still tastes quite good Decent price too, I think I got a 1/2 gallon for like $2.29 or something.

Posted by: aggies1ut

Ya, kind of weird when you live near another IM person lol.

Posted by: Eggs

Makes you realize how many of us there are I actually have quite a few within a couple hours drive as well. None in town though... I'm not sure if they have any more computers here

Posted by: aggies1ut

LOL, but you'll soon have another IM person right beside ya.

Posted by: Nate

Do they put artificial sweeteners in this milk?

Posted by: aggies1ut

Splenda is used in this milk.

Posted by: Leslie

Yes, Splenda.
