I need a new breakfast

Hey I just got really sick of eating OatMeal .. plus it was a regular but everything else had like 19% carbs and this one only has 6.. Do you think I should just ditch that and eat like 4 eggs? Also, I get really really hungry around 10 because I go to school.. and I went to GNC and they said to eat a NitroTech bar or a Odesddy Bar between there. Is that allright? and if you have a good breakfast that does not take so much cooking please post, i hate oat meal its nasty (sorry all u oat meal lovers )

bars are THE WORST option for breakfast!!!
get in some complex carbs AND lean protein!!
i.e if you eat oats.. have the eggs TOO!!
thats what I have.. old fashioned oats sweetened with splenda/cinnamon or vanilla and 10 eggwhites/1 yolk.
the mix of complex carbs and lean protein will give you a steady flow of energy for the morning until your next meal and tie you over since both are slower digesting.

I tried to eat eggs often, but got sick of them. How do you cook your 10 egg whites / 1 yolk?

whip them up in a bowl and then scramble in a pan sprayed with olive oil Pam.
you can do tons of things to eggs to make them more tasty if you dont like them alone. salsa, low fat cheese, add veggies to make an omlet. I even put natty pb on mine!

Maybe I just need to get more creative and add some of that other crap. Out of curiousity, do you just buy huge cartons of eggs all the time? You must go through them like mad.

That's probably the best way to do it, rather than cracking all of those eggs every morning.

I've seen your pics, posts, etc... and find you to either be damn smart at training or a genetic freak! If at any time, you'd like to outline a normal day of nutrition (or even workout), I'd love to hear it. You can also just pm me if that's easier.

well Ive had to crack all those eggs a few times before. and seperate them. pain in the booty!

I have a journal.. in the journal section of my workouts and training. so that should def help. any questions and dont be shy to ask!

Naw, they come in cartons of just pure liquid. Haven't you ever seen them at the grocery store? Just Whites, Egg Beaters, etc.

Oh.. but I get so hungry and I am going to try to eat 6 meals a day 6 meals plus a snack counting 6. I use to only eat like 4.. and plus I can't get EGG WHITES they don't have em here at my market or at another market... I eat egg yolk with the white stuff like 3 of em in the morning.. and I can't eat oatmeal regular its digusting and makes me crap LOL in the morning.. do you think I should just eat eggs in the morning? I never get sick of eggs.. Got anything else besides oatmeal? and what should I eat instead of a NitroTech bar around 10:00AM and 2PM some sort of snack because i am in school and not allowed to bring stuff big like chicken LOL

I seperate the egg whites from the yolks too Jenny. I've bought the cartons of egg whites before and I find they just dont taste the same! Maybe its just a mental thing.

Hmm, I don't have egg whites ;x can't I just eat regular eggs? I am trying to lose weight though.. I just ate Tuna with Low Mayo and Mustard. So I can't eat 3 reg eggs in the morning all the time? So.. if im trying to lose weight its okay to eat Peanut Butter with Cellary? Like I posted up above

That's exactly what I do, right down to the olive oil.

Sometimes I cheat and put in 1 oz of swiss cheese.

I personally prefer the cracking and separating method better than Egg Beaters. I personally think that real eggs taste better than the egg substitutes out there. More expensive, but oh well.

Of course you can have penut butter with celery. just dont eat all that fat along side a high carb meal, unless its pre workout.

dude if i were you i would slick a peice of whole wheatwith pb and whrap that sh*t around a bannana. it makes for a good snack for sure. this is my first post to this furum although ive been reading through threads for quite a while. and ive learned alot about fitness and nutrition. ive been bb for 18 months now and owe my best gains to this furum . peace

Myself, I eat two hardboiled whole eggs, and three pieces of a special kind of bread I have as toast, as well as a scoop of whey, and a multivitamin.

It's pretty comprehensive for my size, and fairly quick to make

Im trying to lose weight, not get carbs.. that will get me fat. plus im at school "during school" i need a small snack before my lunch
