oh man that guy would tear shit up in the NFl

not saying it was a bad decision but he needs to hit the weight room or something cause he's not very big but he is fast and he has moves. he'll start some day.

Are you joking me?? Please teel me you are kidding... First off, he has never played a full season. He also hasn't played in over a year, not to mention eth fact that the NFL is a world of difference than teh College game. He will get eaten up. He has proven nothing yet, nothing. He needs to play a full season without getting injured first. He mioght not even get drafted in the frst two rounds, which he shouldn't be anyways. He si a spoiled little brat IMHO that needs to get his ass checked. The defensive schemes and the quickness of the NFL will be too much too handle. Maybe in time he may be good, but sure as fuck not now. I guarantee it!

if he were playing right now..forget his attitude or the fact that he might not get drafted in the 1st round..who cares iff (if and only if) he were playing right now i think he would do some damage...again given the fact that he doesn't get hurt

if if if. how do you know?? He hasn't even played a full season to prove that he is a good solid back. As far as we know he had a good few months of football b/c of his Of line. The NFL is a much different game. He would not just walk in there and tear it up, not by a long shot. There are four or five backs in teh draft that are gonna be better than him most likely. Take Stephen Jackson form Oregon ST. He has done it much longer. The only reason taht Clarretts name is being tossed around is b/c of the hype he has caused.

Being a HUGE Ohio State fan, I think Clarett is making a HUGE mistake. He flat out is not ready for the NFL now. Like GR81 said, he didn't even play one full college season. He was injury prone, and those were with 'boys' hitting him. Albeit, division 1-A, but boys nonetheless. Once in the NFL, Maurice will quickly see he is a boy among men... and is going to have an extremely tough time of it. So tough in fact, I fear this may overall be a career ending move. His self confidence will drop to zilch, cuz he is just not ready. Anyone remember Heath Schuler? Heath WAS a talented QB. The Redskins just expected too much, too soon and when it didn't happen, it destroyed his self confidence.

It pains me, because I think Maurice Clarett truly is talented and the best thing he could do is come back to Ohio State and get two solid seasons under his belt. Only then will he be ready for the NFL, physically and maturity wise.

He's a whiny little bitch IMO who thinks he's the next big thing. My ideal scenario for him would be for him to get drafted, and in the first practice someone snaps his knee like a matchstick. Career over. Maybe then he might appreciate that college degree he could have gotten FOR FREE.

This guy being eligible for the draft takes so much away from all of the people that actually EARN their spot in the draft through hard work and busting ass year after year in the NCAA.

Clarett hasn't played a full season since his freshman year in HIGH SCHOOL. and that's straight off of sportscenter.

Maurice Clarett is about to make the SAME
mistake that Marcus DuPree has made....

DuPree was the 18 yr old freshman who played
on Oklahoma (Barry Switzer's) team and
after 1 season, he went pro with a
USFL (useless spring footbal league) team
