Greetings everyone! I must say Im gald to be here. At one point I was working out and seeing tons of gains. I got alittle careless and over trained. I ended up getting a number of bone spurs in my shoulder and on my collar bone. I was un aware of this and only felt abit of pain. Eventually they ended up tearing my rotator cuff. Still I didnt listen to my body till it was to late. Once I was unable to lift my coffee mug to my mouth I realized I had a problem. In surgery they stapled my rotator cuff and shaved the bone spurrs. I had done so much damage working thru the pain about 1/4in of my collar bone had to be shaved down also. I went thru my rehab but couldnt find my way back to the gym. I went a few times but ended up getting depressed because I was so far from where I was. I decided to get off my butt and get crackin. I like having friends to discuss workouts with. I also need some motivation. So thanks for letting me join your community.

Im currently 26yr old, 5'11", 165lb. Before my injury I was 175lb with 3% body fat. I dont know my bf right now but my goal at the moment is to get where I was. Wish me luck.

Coffee,
Welcome. I had my rotor operated on also and am probably just as strong if not strionger now than i was before the surgery. It was a slow process but worth it. Light weights for quite sometime but the weights used now are back up to where the used to be. been lifting for 14 months now.
