I make a similar recipe- I use 2/3 cup of oats, and 1 egg white, no apple sauce, and water to blend! Baking soda / baking powder, just a pinch! This make 1 BIG pancake!

NO! the cottage cheese makes em moist! Sara, just use enough water so they blend, so the consistency is like pancake / cake batter! Ummmm, cake batter.....
Heres my recipe:
2/3 oats-blend first
1/2 cup cc
1 egg white
pinch of cinnamon, splenda, baking soda, baking powder
Chop oaties first, blend the rest of ingredients. Use water to help blend.
Cook in a nonstick pan sprayed with pam

I love protein pancakes. but I dont add cottage cheese either. use more egg whites and make em real fluffy! I aslo grind my oats sometimes in the coffee grinder too!

Good thinking about the coffe grinder-i just spent like $150 on a fancy blender and it chopped my oats like shit! My hold $40 one works better. So I returned it! Maybe I should look into getting a coffee grinder, does it work really well AJ?

well I grind my coffee beans in the grinder and it works super duper. when I do my oats or flaxseeds in it, it makes them real fine. when I make recipes thats call for whole wheat flour, I use oat flour instead(grind my oats in the coffee grinder). works awesome! and I only paid $10 for my grinder at Canadian Tire!
