Just started Carb Cycling and therefor taking about 12-13 fish oil caps a day. Since I've started, I've been having major headaches every day. I read some articles about Vitamin A toxicity due to large quantities of fish oil. #1 symptom is headaches. Anyone else ever have this problem.
Taking Members Mark (Sam's Club) Omega 3 Fish Oil 1000mg
EPA 180mg
DHA 120mg
Aiming to take 4 gms EPA/DHA daily.
180mg+120mg= 300mg
4000mg/300= ~13 caps a day.
Is this too much? Maybe the headaches are just a fluke, we'll see if I keep getting them.

Just whats in the Fish Oil and my Multi-Vitamin.
Fish Oil doesn't specify amount of Vitamin A.
Muti-Vitamin contains 3500 IU or 70% RDA

Vitamin A is fat soluble so it is stored in the body fat for long periods.
This increases risk of toxicity if you are Megadosing.
Upper Limit is around 5000IU /day. Look out for dry , peeling skin,headaches, dizziness and nausea.
Just follow the recommended dosage on your fish oil bottle

Serving size is ( 1 ) a day. I buy the same kind of fish oil, and I take about 15-18 ED.

fish oil also contains traces of mercury which is really bad

I take at LEAST 20 tabs a day with no headaches or ill-effects.

I take fish caps, perhaps around 10 a day, and I have no noticeable sides.

You can take like 30 - 40 and you won't feel effects from mercury or nothing.
