Pls advise on diet

Basically, I settled on a diet that I can maintain every day and at consistent times:

06:30 a.m. | 1 scoop of whey protien (22g) and cup of bran cerial/milk
09:00 a.m. | .5 cup Natural Oats
12:00 p.m. | Turkey Sandwich / .5 cup Cottege Cheese
02:30 p.m. | 1 scoop of whey protien (22g) and Banana
Cardio - Weights
05:30 p.m. | Tuna Sandwich (full can/whole wheat) and 2 scoops of whey protien (44g)
08:00 p.m. | This varies, but usually going to be some vegetables and either chicken breast or Salman Filet cooked to flavor differently.

ONLY WATER for drinks.

I'm currently 6'2" @ 207# - BF% @ 22-25% area.. I've switched from alternating lifting days to cardio everyday and lifting on the weekend, just tired of waiting out the spare tire and want to really put a dent into it.

Anyways, looking for advise on improving the diet for the better. I'm not interested in making gains in muscle, just maintaing what I do have and cutting the BF (afterwhich I plan on working on gains again). Thanks!

I'm no diet expert, but I would recommend increasing your 2 protein shakes from (22g) to 44grams. Thereby totaling 3 shakes of (44grams). This will bring you closer to a body building protein goal of 1gram of protein to each pound of body weight. You can actually go up as much as 1.5 grams of protein to 1lb of body weight.

Does having 1-1.5g of protein apply also to weight loss? I can easily do that, but wasn't sure if it was necessary or a misuse of an extra serving of whey. If I'm trying to make gains or build mass I'd be all over doing that, second opioning?

Vlar,

Well I have read lots of controversy over protein and what your body needs. Most body builders will all tell you 1 gram to 1lb of body weight. Now I believe this would also be important for maintaining LBM (Lean Body Mass).

Maybe one of the forums nutrician experts can comment on this topic.

Not disagreeing.. just curious, and thanks for your comment!.. I'm giving into this goal 110% so just want to make sure I'm not making any serious mistakes or misgivings.. going to add in some more protein sources like hard boiled eggs, and perhaps double up the cottege cheese. I could even do another scoop of whey at my last meal but that might not be necessary.

Using the calculater on Fitday.. I broke the daily totals down to: Calories: 1939 Fat:43 Carb:201 Protien: 193, so I figure another good serving of protein somehwere in there would put me at 1 gram per pound.
