I just had some blood work done, and everything looked fine except for an elevated bilirubin count. Doc just mentioned it over the phone, so i dont have the exact numbers. I have noticed some slight jaundice in the eyes, too... so it makes sense.
At the time the blood work was done, the only things i was supplementing with was creatine, whey, and a multi. I've never used any PH/AAS. I've also been on a prolonged cut.
What can cause the elevated bilirubin? Could it have anything to do with an increase in hemoglobin because of my elevated protein intake?

Were you fasting? Which bilirubin was elevated, direct or indirect. There is something called Gilbert's syndrome that is associated with benign elevation of indirect bilirubin when done fasting. The above mentioned supplements are not associated with liver toxicity.
Get further details from your doc. If he is not an internist, he may not know about Gilbert's syndrome.

Hey, that link was superb, thanks!
Doc didnt say if it was direct or indirect, but ill try to get a copy of the report tomorrow. And no, i wasnt fasting.
I noticed in that link that it mentioned symptoms can be aggravated under high stress - which actually makes sense, because when i first noticed the jaundice it was during my finals last semester.
