well
i decided that i should change my routine

Before i was using push/pull/legs routine

But on push day, my triceps would be exhausted from doing chest
so i decided to switch my schedule to doing triceps/back
and biceps/chest

About 12 days ago or so i did my last push routine
and on bench i go mostly for power
so i always try to get a higher total weight on one of my sets
basically an all out set.

I did about what i had been at for 2-3 weeks...

so I rest for 4-5 days and do back/triceps everything went well i suppose

but then i took off 7 full days of not lifting

Today when i went to workout on chest

I beat the last days bench by over 10 pounds on my all out set!
When i went to the max-out chart is was at 15 pounds higher than last time!
This was so amazing and im very happy with it.

All the rest combined with the triceps workout worked very well!
And i thought i was going to do bad, because an hour earlier i jogged over a mile and was still tired!

I cant wait till my tricep workout, im really going to push it
and rest good, then i want to actually do a 1 rep max-out
to see what happens

I've had similar experiences from taking a prolonged rest period after high volume. It's amazing. That's why I've said that one of the best no-cost anabolic activators is rest.
