I have been working out really hard for the past 6 months now and I have lost all the weight I want to. My next goal is to add some lbm.

1. What type of cycle and how long of a cycle would be recommended for a first time on ph's.

2. How long should someone be working out before starting a ph cycle.

Yes Im old enough. And I dont plan on jumping into this right away.

OWF,

First I would suggest stepping out of the rain, you might get a cold

Oh, and I think even the PH experts would have a hard time answering #1 without knowing what type of PH you plan on taking. They all very as to type and length of cycle. Now as far as #2 goes I would say that you should be working out at least 6 months, but that is just my thought. In other words you should be serious about bodybuilding and somewhat seasoned before taking PH's..

Just my 2 cents bro...

6 months of training is not even close to enough to taking ph's IMO you should wait until all your strength gains totally stop and you hit the big wall. your first year of training alone you should see huge results. instead of trying to do everything with a short cut train hard get your time under your belt and then try them if you still wish to.

JMR,

I've seen beginning body builders who had great results after taking Ph's after about 6 months of hard training.. I guess it depends on the individual. I do emphasize to be a seasoned bodybuilder. If your a long term veteran even better. It is probably best to go a few years without it, but again it is up to the individual.

Nike,

Awsome article...I don't think I have that one.
I think I will definately file it away for future reference.
Thanks for sharing it.

if you take ph's after six months yes you can see results but u limit your future potential. of course you see results with ph thats what they are for even if you only lifted for six months but why do that when you can still have great gains by switching up your routine trying new things wait to you hit a wall my opinion.

I think jmr1979 has a good point. If you're still making gains, why spend the money and why mess with your test?

There are so many workouts and diets and routines you can do for growth that really work. Yes, they probably won't work as fast as a bottle of methylatd 1-test, but you get to keep your gains without having to go on PCT, without having to worry about sides, etc.

You can get very huge training hardcore and not taking any hormonal supplements. Yes, pro bodybuilders do steroids. Some do a ton. But they train so freaking crazy hard. That's what stimulates the growth. The PH or AAS is going to accelerate repair and nutrient partitioning, it's not going to work absent an environment that already is anabolic. (BTW, I think that's why a lot of those medical studies claimed to prove steroids didn't increase muscle mass--because the subjects didn't train like you would normally to build mass)

There's a great interview with Tom Platz in T-magazine (I think) about how roids only gave him an extra 10 pounds or so each year, and how his training is what took him over the edge. This guy went to the hospital after squatting for ten minutes straight!

I bought some M1T b/c I was worried I'd never see it at the low price or legal for very long, but I am doing so well naturally, I don't think I am going to take it for along time. I may never take it, if my genes are as strong as I think they are.

Have you already stopped making progress in six months? If you're training, eating, and sleeping properly, that would seem strange to me. If you've hit a wall in six months, I don't think PH is the answer. Ultimately you want a lifestyle change that will keep you ripped for life, and maybe you'll need a PH, maybe you won't. Unless you're trying to compete--is that the case?
