For a 2nd round draft pick. Man, the Niners dump T.O. and Jeff Garcia in a 24 hour period. They are in for a rough 2004 season.

Yep..and I just heard the punk-for-punk trade is off as Galloway is not happy with his contract offer with the Buccs.

Looks like a 2005 fifth rounder...nice Galloway, you're the equivilent to NEXT year's FIFTH round pick....

Well I hear Galloway was not willing to cut his salary from almost $6 million to about $1 million. I can't blame him for that. Who the hell WOULD take that trade??

No, nearly all NFL contracts are not guaranteed. That is why you see so many signing bonuses...that is really the only guaranteed part.

T.O. now says he will NOT play for the Ravens and will sit out of he needs to. He will ONLY play for the Eagles, according to him. Personally, I think his agent fucked up and now T.O. is stuck with Baltimore.

Not speaking as a football fan here, just as a disgusted consumer, he'll play for whoever he damn well pleases and get paid WAAAAAY too much for it. T.O. and all the other "talented punks" out there get their way because we (Yes, I'm just as guilty as everybody else.) want to see them play. The players know it. The player's agents know it. The owners know it. The only way we could put an end to it is to stop watching. Picture this: you're sitting back on a Monday night in your favorite recliner, beer in one hand and a huge sub-sandwich in the other then, coming at you at full volume is Hank Williams Jr. belting out, "Are you ready for some................................bowling?!?!?"

The problem with professional sports is the over abundance of the ego factor...(T.O., Keyshawn, Manny Ramirez, Bonds, Kobe, Iverson etc...) All the commissioners and owners should get together and institute an ego tax for all of professional sports. Make them pay us for dealing with their bullshit.

i really don't give a shit about the niners, but i am glad TO is gone because he is one of the biggest assholes i have seen play the game. him saying he won't play for anyone but the eagles is just typically of his huge ego and mindset
